World Changers – Setting fire to the nations

Fire Starters for Christ

The Lord has given us a vision to see a generation of passionate followers of God who will stop at nothing to see His burning love demonstrated on the earth. We believe that young people are “World Changers” and we’re dedicated to equipping them to become all that God has called them to be. We simply foster an environment where the Spirit can work in their lives.

Encounter

Without encountering God, we are not able to truly know Him. We are called to be witnesses for Christ – not only to tell the Good News of Christ, but to demonstrate it too.

“Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” -Luke 24:31-32 (NIV)

Experience

Many people have read and heard about the power of God, but have never personally seen it. God wants everyone to know and experience his love and power.

“…and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” -1 Corinthians 2:4-5 (ESV)

Empower

By empowering these young adults, they can share the Good News with the world as God calls them.

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?” -Romans 10:14-15 (NIV)

Bible is the Final Authority

The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.

God the Father

God is a Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is our Creator and the Creator of the entire universe. He is Almighty and all-knowing. He is a God of love, mercy, justice and holiness.

Jesus Christ

He is one with the Father and with the Holy Spirit, but for our redemption became Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was without sin, both in nature and conduct. He died to save us, but arose from the dead and ascended to Heaven, where He is at the right hand of God, interceding for us. We look for His return in power and majesty to set up a Millennial Kingdom on earth. In the end, He will judge the world in righteousness.

The Holy Spirit

He is One with the Father and the Son. He is a Person and is God’s Agent in convicting sinners of sin. He regenerates believing sinners and sanctifies consecrated Christians. He magnifies Christ in the lives of believers and energizes them to live victoriously.

Sin

Sin is two fold: 1. Willful disobedience to God’s known law; and 2. The corruption in human nature. So all men, Christ excepted, are sinful by nature and sinners by practice, and therefore in need of redemption, since “the wages of sin is death.”

Salvation

By His death and resurrection, Christ has won a fourfold salvation for us: 1. Regeneration in which we are forgiven of all sins and baptized by the Spirit into the body of Christ; 2. Entire sanctification in which we are baptized (filled) with the Holy Spirit and cleansed from the carnal mind; 3. Growth in grace after sanctification in which we walk in new light as it is given and are made more and more like Jesus; 4. Immortality of body and soul.

About Me

Sel Edor is a campus pastor with Victory Christian Fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University under the Spiritual leadership of Christ Community Church, State College, PA. Sel also serves as the young adult Pastor at Face to Face, ministering to the twenty something’s in Centre County, PA. He and his wife, Tisha, founded and lead Face to Face, a ministry that reaches out to young adults through a dynamic worship service and prophetic evangelism amongst other things.

Sel has a passion for empowering young adults to live supernatural lives. His vision is to partner with God to see a generation of passionate lovers of God who will stop at nothing to see the Kingdom of God demonstrated on the earth. He believes that Young people are World changers and he is dedicated to equipping them to become all that God has called them to be. He also believes that seeing heaven demonstrated on earth in power, leading to lives swept into the Kingdom of God is the call of every Christian.

About Me

I have two main passions in life.
1) I simply want to see God’s will be done on earth. It's amazing how big He works when we don't box Him in or limit our view of our daddy.

2) I get energized when others around me get excited about God. Whenever I look around a room that is filled with young people giving their hearts to the Lord, well it just makes my whole day.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University in 2012 along with a Certificate in Engineering Design. Although I love engineering, I continue to find other areas that I am more passionate about, such as ministry, travel, and sports. But mostly Jesus.
